Bail Bonds, Bail Agents in West Hollywood, California
West Hollywood Station & Jail Information
Located just off of Santa Monica Blvd, the West Hollywood Station and Jail is a division of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, and is in the heart of the cities night life area, which contributes to numerous arrests at night and on weekends. This area of the city is busy all day, every day because Santa Monica Blvd. has so many restaurants, bars, and retail stores.
Arrestees are held in the West Hollywood Jail for at least 48 hours until they go to court for their arraignment hearing. They will, however, stay longer if they are arrested close to or over the weekend. Once they have appeared in court, if they have not been bailed out by then they will be sent to the Inmate Reception Center (IRC), a holding center, where it will be determined which county jail they will be transferred to.
It is recommended that bail be posted prior to the arrestee’s court appearance, so there will be no need to deal with the IRC or other county jail facilities where posting bail can take many, many hours, or even a day. Once we have posted a bail bond, we notify the front desk to let them know that we are waiting in the lobby, so they can inform the inmate as well. The actual release time will take approximately 10 minutes to 2 hours, depending on how busy the jail is at that time.
You’ll find more than adequate parking around the building, and a substantial lobby for waiting where our bail agent will meet you and wait with you until your loved one has been released.
