Pasadena Bail Bonds
Pasadena Police Department & Jail Information
The Pasadena Police Department & Jail is located in the Old Town section of the city. The jail is in an older part of the building with a small waiting area. There is plenty of parking around the building, where a Premiere Bail Agent will meet you to post bail for your friend or family member. Our agents are very familiar with how the bail process works at the Pasadena Jail and usually see inmates released within 15 to 45 minutes, once our bail bond has been approved. The jail is known to keep inmates in their custody until they go to court for their arraignment hearing, which is usually within 48 hours of their arrest. Once they are arraigned, if they have not already posted bail for their release, they will be transferred to a Los Angeles County jail usually downtown for men, and the Lynwood Jail for women, where bailing out an inmate can take 12 hours or more because of the volume of inmates waiting to be processed.
Because of the lengthy time it takes to bail someone out of a county jail facility, you’ll want to post bail while they are awaiting their arraignment hearing in the Pasadena Jail. This will assure you and the inmate that they will be released from custody, once the booking process is completed, within a relatively short period of time.
