Norwalk Bail Bonds
Norwalk was the 4th station established by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. Captain Patrick Maxwell currently manages this station currently, which has had three separate locations over the years, is located at the Civic Center and has been in operation since June of 1972, serving the cities of Norwalk, La Mirada, and South Whittier.
Norwalk Station & Jail Information
The Norwalk Station is a considered a Type-1 facility, meaning it only holds inmates for a couple of days until their arraignment, and then transfers them to the LA County Jail, unless they have been bailed out before the two days have past. Once transferred, the bail process could take a day or more, due to the heavy volume at the LA County Jail.
The bail process takes between 30 minutes to two hours, once our bail bond has been accepted and posted. We do recommend that you start the bail process as soon as you learn of a friend or family member’s arrest. This will help to expedite the bail process and get the arrestee released as quickly as possible.
There is adequate parking available on site, and the lobby is open to the public, where you can wait for the inmate to be released.
