Lynwood / Century Sheriff’s Station & Jail Information
The Lynwood Station provides law enforcement for a 13 square mile radius of south Los Angeles County. The communities patrolled include; the City of Lynwood, Florence, Firestone, Walnut Park, Willowbrook and Athens Park; however, the Lynwood Station doesn’t have a jail facility, therefore, those arrested are immediately taken to the Century Sheriff’s Station, located at 11703 South Alameda Street in Lynwood. Men and women can be held here until they are either bailed out, or must appear for their scheduled court appearance.

The Century Regional Detention Facility (CRDF), or as it’s commonly referred to, the Lynwood Jail, is a county jail that only houses women, and is directly adjacent to the Century Sheriff’s Station. When writing a bond for a woman at this facility, it will be done at the Los Angeles Inmate Reception Center (IRC) in downtown LA.

Once the bond has been accepted, the IRC will notify the CRDF that the bond has been posted and the release process will begin. On average, the release process will take between 4 - 8 hours at this facility.

When we post a bond at this facility, we work with the jail only, not the front desk. The jail has a phone located in the lobby that we use to notify them that we are ready to post bail.

The Century Sheriff’s Station, as previously mentioned, is located in the same complex, but is an entirely separate facility. When we are ready to post bail at this facility, we work directly with the jail, not the front desk, and use the phone located in the lobby. If you are waiting for someone to be released, you can use the same phone to find out the status of the release process for that individual.

The CRDF is located at 11705 South Alameda St. in Lynwood, CA, which is between the 110 and 710 Freeways, just south of the 105.

From the 105 E Freeway: Exit at the Wilmington Ave/Exit 10 off ramp. Take the Imperial Hwy East ramp toward I-105 West. Turn slight right onto E Imperial Hwy. Turn right onto S Alameda St. 11703 S ALAMEDA ST is on the right.

From the 105 W Freeway: Take EXIT 10 toward Wilmington Ave. Turn right onto E Imperial Hwy. Take the 2nd right onto S Alameda St. 11703 S ALAMEDA ST is on the right.

Lynwood Jail / Century Regional Detention Facility – Inmate Visitation
Visitation at CRDF is allowed on Saturday – Tuesday from 7:30 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. Inmates are allowed one visit daily for no more than 30 minutes. Only 3 people are allowed per visit (2 adults and 1 child, or 1 adult and 2 children). Children over the age of 14 are required to present school ID, a passport or California ID to be admitted into the facility. Lockers are available for personal items that are not allowed on the floor for $0.25.
