El Segundo Bail Bonds
El Segundo Police Department & Jail Information
The El Segundo Police Department has 69 sworn positions and the balance of 104 employees is civilians. This police department has a progressive management style. They have developed a state-of-the-art communications system, which shows how innovative, professional, and community-oriented they are in their approach to law enforcement. They have a Type 1 Jail facility, which means it is a small jail that primarily holds inmates for no more than two days until their arraignment. If they are not bailed out prior to their arraignment, they will be transferred to a larger LA County jail, where the bail release process could take many hours, or even a day or more, so plan to start the bail process immediately after you learn that a friend or family member has been arrested in El Segundo.
Once we post a bail bond, the inmate’s release time may vary based on how busy the jail is at that time, and the availability of the Jail Supervisor to sign off on the release.
Also, there is no parking lot or structure on site, so you’ll have to look for a parking space on the street.
