Walnut / Diamond Bar Station & Jail Information
If a family member or a friend is arrested in Diamond Bar, they will immediately be taken directly to the Walnut/Diamond Bar Station Jail. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) has a contract with the City of Diamond Bar to provide all law enforcement services, with a staff of more than 20 full-time employees serving the community. The Walnut/Diamond Bar Station is responsible for a 45.2 mile radius, patrolling and protecting the communities of Diamond Bar, Walnut, and Rowland Heights. You’ll find Diamond Bar located among the hills and valleys of Brea Canyon. The Walnut / Diamond Bar Station Jail has a smaller jail facility, so once we post a bail bond and all the paperwork has been processed, the arrestee will be released within 30 minutes. If you wait too long to post a bond, the arrestee will be transferred to a Los Angeles County jail where the bail process could take many hours, or possibly a day or two.
Parking at this station is not a problem and the lobby is large enough to wait for the arrestee to be released, as they will be released directly through the lobby.
