Bell Police Department & Jail Information

Bell Police Department was established in 1927. The building is located at 6326 Pine Avenue in Bell, where they are prepared to house up to 7 inmates at one time. Most arrestees are usually able to post bail, but if not, they will be transferred to the Men’s Central Jail (Twin Towers) in Downtown Los Angeles, or Lynwood Jail (CRDF) for women. The process of bailing out from the Central Jail takes much longer, usually 8-12 hours or more; therefore, it’s advisable to bail an inmate out as soon as possible from the Bell Jail, which typically takes about between 15 minutes to 1 hour from the time we post the bond until they are released from custody. The inmate is released from the rear of the jail and walked around to the front of the building, where they can be met by the person waiting to pick them up.

The Bell Police Department is open 24/7, so we can post bail at any time of the day or night, for everyone’s convenience. You can call Premiere Bail Bonds for inmate information and details of their arrest at any time, and we will explain the bail process to you in detail.
