Agoura Hills Bail Bonds
Agoura Hills - Lost Hills Station & Jail Information
The Agoura Hills Police Department is more commonly known as the Lost Hills Sheriff’s Department. This station covers the northwestern section of LA County, from Calabasas to the Ventura County line. Since it is a fairly small facility, it makes the bail bond process very easy. Public parking is located directly in front of the building. The public is allowed in the building all hours of the day, as long as they have a reason for being there. If you arrive at the jail after normal business hours, there is a call button outside the main entrance that you will need to utilize to let them know why you are out there. After you are buzzed in, you must first report to the front desk.
When our bail agent arrives, they report to the front desk, as well, so they can notify the jailer that we are there to post a bond, and are ready to submit our paperwork. The jailer will come up and review our documents for accuracy. Once they have verified that everything is in order, they will go back to the jail to begin the release process of the person in custody. From the time a bond is submitted it usually takes about 10 to 15 minutes for the jail to release the inmate. During this time we will wait with you in the lobby and complete our paperwork, and answer any additional questions you may have. The lobby is also where the person in custody will walk out through after being released from the jail.
